• Dr. Zhu was a professor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Edgewood College, Georgia
• Graduate of the Dongguk Royal University with a Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture, California / Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China
• ​Apprenticeship w/ Dr. Zhu’s Grandfather and Dr. Rong Zheng in 1980
  
• Dr.Zhu's great grandfather was a scholar who passed imperial exams in the late Qing Dynasty and was a famous healer and herbalist.
  
• Dr. Zhu is the 29th generation great grandson of Chu Hsi (Zhu Xi, 1130 – 1220) , who was one of the most famous philosophers in China​
